At Loudoun Neighbors Against Toxic Sludge (Loudoun NATS), we are committed to respecting your privacy. We recognize that when you chose to provide us with information about yourself, you trust us to act in a responsible manner. That is why we put a privacy policy to explain what use we may make of any information you disclose to us. BY DISCLOSING ANY INFORMATION TO US, YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE FOLLOWING PRIVACY POLICY. SUCH AGREEMENT IS A BINDING CONTRACT AMONG YOU AND LOUDOUN NATS. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO BE BOUND BY THIS PRIVAVCY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY DISCLOSURE TO LOUDOUN NATS.

What information does Loudoun NATS collect? How do we use it?

The only information we collect relates to your participation in the petition. Consistent with the stated purpose of the petition, we may use your name, address and comments in our efforts to address the sludge issue with public officials, government staff, the media, and others. We also may use your email address to contact you about matters directly related to Loudoun NATS mission. If you do not wish to be contacted by us, please indicate this fact at the time you provide your information and we will honor your request.

We will never disclose or use your information for a commercial purpose. Nor will we use or disclose your information for any purpose not directly related to the sludge issue. We will not compile email addresses for release to any other person.

We intend to continue improving the content and function of the Loudoun NATS web site. For this purpose alone, we monitor user traffic patters and site usage to help use improve the design and layout of our site and to provide content of interest to you.

We reserve the right to disclose your information as may be required by law.

Your consent

In the event Loudoun NATS decides to change its privacy policy we will post the changes on this page for your notice. We request you check this page from time to time to learn of such changes.
